Those of you who have been here before will have noticed there have been a few changes round here.
I have been an extreme perfectionist since the dawn of time. At school, I would rewrite my notes again and again in perfectly colour coordinated systems with post it notes, Stabilo fineliners, stickers – the full shabang – and then before you know it, exam time had come about and I’d only managed to get through one unit’s worth of notes. Yes, as you can imagine my A Levels went really well. Sorry again, Mrs Whitehead x
I started this blog up as a kind of creative outlet – I enjoyed writing and saw this as a way I could churn out thoughts and talk about topics that interest me and that I’m passionate about.
I wasn’t 100% happy with the content I was producing before though. In a cycle of fear of judgement from people I know, I was filtering my blog posts and then in turn wasn’t producing content that was very me and then wasn’t happy with the result.
With this relaunch comes a brand new attitude and approach to my blog. I’m starting afresh.
The wonderful Kotryna Boss has created this lovely theme for my website – it is clean, professional looking and I absolutely love it. I would thoroughly recommend heading to Kotryna Boss Designs if you’re looking for a theme for your blog, Kotryna and Tomas were amazing and installed the theme for my tech-illiterate self with their free installation services.
I have introduced a new portfolio section to my website where I showcase some of the exciting theatre/event projects I have worked on and you can find out more about my experiences and challenges on each production or event. I’m going to be posting a lot more about my career and sharing my projects with you.
I am going to be posting content a lot more regularly and am going to dedicate a lot more time and energy to creating blog posts. I have been working really hard over the last couple of months to line up some interesting posts for you to read.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see a lot more of you soon!
